福鼎白茶历史渊源
History of Fuding White Tea
白茶是中国六大茶类中最古老、最自然的茶类，其工艺可追溯至远古'晒药'式的自然干燥。福鼎太姥山流传着太姥娘娘种茶的传说；清代嘉庆初年（约1796年），福鼎以菜茶壮芽制银针，后以福鼎大白/大毫品种制'白毫银针'；1891年前后白毫银针外销出口，是中国最早外销的茶品之一。2009年福鼎白茶制作技艺入选国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
White tea is the oldest and most natural of China's six tea types, with craft tracing back to ancient sun-drying methods. Legend places tea cultivation at Taimu Mountain with the goddess Taimu. Around 1796 (early Jiaqing era), Fuding produced silver needles from sturdy buds; Silver Needle made from Dabai/Dahao cultivars was exported around 1891, among China's earliest export teas. In 2009 the Fuding White Tea crafting technique was inscribed on China's national intangible cultural heritage list.
