如何鉴别正宗福鼎白茶

Four checks for genuine Fuding White Tea: (1) GI mark—look for the 'Fuding White Tea' geographical indication trademark and traceability code; (2) appearance—plump buds densely covered in silvery-white down; (3) liquor—pale apricot, clear and bright; (4) channel—core-origin factories can provide origin certificates and lab reports. Beware of tea from other provinces passed off as Fuding, and artificially aged 'old white tea' (dark, lifeless from accelerated aging).
